About Us - Florida Premier Villas

Florida Premier Villas was first created in March 2000 and is a family affair run by the Nickson family, a family of total Florida nuts that believe that Florida holidays are the best in the world. We enjoy our holidays so much that when we cannot be there we wanted to help other people make the most of their time in the Sunshine state. With so many things to do such as Disney parks, the water parks, sea world and of the newer items such as Harry Potter land and Discovery Cove the options are almost endless. in our Florida News and Information section though we try and help with suggestions and ideas that we hope will help to make your holiday a much better one.

Going to Florida has a number of great benefits but one thing that we always make the point of telling people is the difference that having a good villa makes to the holiday experience. We went as far as to write a Top 10 Reasons For A Villa In Florida to try and help explain all the benefits that there are.

The Nickson family now consists of the 4 of us, me Mike (Daddy) and I have been to Florida 4 times and cannot get enough, give me half a chance and I would move there. I love the difference in pace of life and I am a person that feel so much better when there is some sunshine out there! I could happily go to Florida and just enjoy the experience without necessary go to all the parks BUT and this is a big but, why would you?? There are so many cool attractions and great things to do over there, the Americans do many of the same things as the UK but propoerly. If you have not been to Florida you are not sure what I mean but if you go to a major theme park in the UK and then to one in the US you will then know what I mean. I have been to Florida as a couple twice, a last ditch holiday with my family of 3 brothers, 1 sister, 2 parents and a girlfriend (we even met a friend out there that was going round the world), and most recently we have been as a family of 3 and half with my parents as well (we wrote about that one as it was a 3 generation Florida Holiday). This last one I think was our best as we took our son who got totally immersed in the experience, having been there and done most of the big things we were happy to watch the experience through their eyes and it was fantastic.

Florida Mummy looking for a new hat

Mel, (Mummy) has been to Florida 5 times over the years, the same holidays as I was able to go on, with the addition of going with her parents at the age of 14. That holiday was a group of 4 families going together, the families hired 2 villas next to each other allowing for 1 for the parents and 1 for the children (teenagers really). This holiday was her first in Florida and so holds some great memories and still quite dear to her.

Disney Florida hat for Leo

Our eldest son has been to Florida at the ripe old age of 3 and it was fantastic to see how much he loved the experience. He is an all or nothing child and so ran all day long and as soon as he go to the car to come back to the villa he was asleep in 2 minutes. This is one of the reasons for this site to help others with ideas, suggestions and a great selection of villas to help you to have the greatest holiday you can have, as we have. At the end of a full day of attractions we could come home to our villa, put him in his bed in his room and then make dinner, have a drink or 2 or even a swim and prepare for another magical day!

Our family have now just started a new hobby as all 4 of us have now taken up TaeKwon Do and so now we have a new website where you can read about our TaeKwon Do Training diary about what it is like to start training from the ages of 36, 32, 6 and 3 by training in all the different training age categories with people of different sexes and ages and sizes. We are all looking forward to it, maybe we will all compete in Florida one day! Think that may be a little while off though.

We hope you enjoy this site, and if you have any problems, questions or comments then please feel free to contact us by emailing us.
