Florida must be the largest consumer of fireworks in the world but come the 5th November we Brits get in on the action.
Guy Fawkes night which better named in the UK these days as being Bonfire Night is of course the biggest firework event in the uk however most of our firework displays are local groups and as such they are amateur events and the fireworks that Disney do Every Night dwarf them. It would be understandable for the English celebration that started after that Guy Fawkes bloke tried to blow up parliament could be overlooked – But hold that thought!
In Florida these days there is a large ex pat community and these are the guys that like a good Bonfire Night that is not themed, is just good old fashioned burning someone at the stake and then firing things in the sky. Hence there was the creation of the Kissimmee Guy Fawkes Bonfire night!
This event as you might imagine is on the 5th November this year and is located nestled behind the Resort on West 192 is a beautifully manicured 11 acre site  designed for sports and recreation surrounded by a scenic walking route, fountained pond, with a forested backdrop!
The nice thing with this event is that it is just like the UK bonfire nights that hundreds of thousands will be visiting this year in England. The event runs with no giant theme park efforts and it about a bunch of people running a firework event and trying to get a few side things to make it more interesting and keep the interest of the smaller kids until the fireworks start. This is being run as a true old fashioned event and so no theme park prices here, it is $5 for adults 3$ for children and then once you are there, you have:
