Legends Golf Course Review

The Legends is one of many Clifton, Ezell & Clifton designs in the Orlando area. Located in the northwest section, this 6911 yard par 72 layout features dramatic elevation changes from tee boxes that rise up to 100 feet above the multi-tiered fairways. Panoramic views featuring glimpses of Lake Louisa are often spectacular from the “mountain tops” of this rolling terrain. Slanting fairways provide challenging lies and numerous doglegs and water hazards serve to keep golfers on their toes. The Legends clubhouse includes a pro shop, locker rooms with showers for men and women, plus a beautiful restaurant with full bar and outdoor patio, that also doubles to host outings and special events. Champions Gate International Golf Course Review

For our latest Golf Course review we thought we would use this great example of a Florida course in the form of Champions Gate International Golf Course. Champions Gate has 2 courses in the national and international courses but for now we will be looking at the International. ChampionsGate Golf Club features 2 outstanding Greg Norman designed 18-hole courses as the centerpiece of a tourist/commercial destination, that encompasses 1500 acres of prime real estate just southwest of Disney World. A 35,000 square foot clubhouse includes complete dining and lounge areas , function/banquet space for 250 people, a fully stocked pro shop and guest locker rooms. Highlands Reserve Golf Course Review

The two guys that golf have reviewed the Highlands Reserve golf course, this is one of the more popular golf course with villa renters as well as Florida Villas in Highlands Reserve are a popular choice and have some of the larger and really dreamy properties. So if you are looking for a great villa and golf course option then you will not be disappointed by Highlands Reserve.

Highlands Reserve in Davenport just west of the Disney Resort area, is a Mike Dasher design that is atypical in the Orlando golf market. This mid-priced course features water in play on just 2 holes, as pine tree lined fairways traverse past nature preserves and citrus groves, along a rolling terrain that features elevation changes of as much as 120 feet. This Scottish highlands links style layout boasts panoramic views, immaculately maintained playing surfaces, spacious landing areas and large, mildly undulating putting surfaces. The greens are often multi-tiered, so paying attention to the day’s pin placement is advice worth heeding.

Kissimmee Golf Club Course Review

Kissimmee Golf Club has long been considered a local favorite, appreciated for its quality, playability and reasonable rates. The golfer-friendly attitude extends throughout the club staff, which invites players to enjoy the considerable facilities, including a terrific practice area with grass and mat range, short game area with sand bunker, and putting green. Breakfast and lunch are served 7 days a week in a casual dining atmosphere, and a fully stocked pro shop is also located in the clubhouse.

Orange County National Golf Course Review

Orange County National golf course – When looking for a place to get away from the harsh cold winter in England to play some golf my sights turned to Florida and I wasn’t dissapointed! I stayed in Orange Blossom Road in Orlando and was surrounded by golf facilities and golf courses. With the weather at 20 degrees I set off for Orange County National golf course, the host of the finals of PGA Tour school and was amazed by what I arrived to.

As I drove in my bag was taken out of my boot and on to a golf cart whilst I changed my shoes and I was ready for off as soon as I got out the car. I played on the Panther course and it lived up to all the hype. The range is a kilometre across and is an amazing practice facility. I was treated superbly throughout the day hardly lifting the finger. It’s a challenge for every level of golfer varying from 7300 yards to 5500 yards! I would heavily advice visiting Orange County National as you are guarenteed a fantastic day out on 2 amazing golf courses with plenty of character.
