Florida Holiday Guide

A holiday vacation to Florida promises sunny weather, glorious beaches, cultural activities, opportunities to explore nature and more. Florida is a popular destination spot for people who enjoy a moderate climate and an abundant array of activities to explore with loved ones.

One of the first places people wish to visit while in Florida is the beach. Why Florida? The Sunshine State but so Much More

arriving at magic kingdom 300x200 Why Florida? The Sunshine State but so Much MoreI was bitten by the Florida bug (not literally!) on my first trip in 1995 at the age of 16. A ‘Once in a Lifetime’ holiday with my family and three other families. Having always been a Disney fan it was a place of dreams for me and i couldn’t actually believe i was going. But go we certainly did (even though I had been diagnosed with Glandular Fever 3 days before we left!! Parents not too chuffed but didn’t spoil a thing!)

In the residential estate of Lindfields (ironic really as we lived, and still do, in the village of Lindfield in West Sussex) we had two villas at opposite ends of one of the many beautifully kept streets. One for all the parents, and one for all the kids. I remember thinking this was very brave and trusting of our parents but we were all good kids ranging in age from 15 to 18 so it worked out a treat. Our Villa was huge and I had never seen an open plan living area before but fell in love Continue reading “Why Florida? The Sunshine State but so Much More” »

Here is a list that we have put together to help get your brain thinking through some of the options

  • Location, Location Location – A thing people often think is most important about the villa is the location. In my view this is actually one of the less important things. If you are hiring a villa then you are also going to have a car (hard work without one), the roads in Florida are rather different then the UK as they have this unique concept where Continue reading “Booking Your First Florida Villa” »
