Florida evenings are quite special in my view. The evening for me is how I imagine I would spend so many of my evening if I were to live there but depending on the time of year that you go to Florida most evenings offer a pleasant humid temperature that means you can stay out all night in a tee shirt and enjoy the evening. Sitting my your pool under the fly netting means that you don’t get the bugs that you may otherwise be seeing around and you can just sit back.
There are loads of options for you to make the most of and so the decision is up to you. The last times that we have been travelling we have been taking small children with us and so the real plus for us with having the villa is that you can keep some resemblance to home life and you are able to keep bedtime routines if you should want to, the kids get no nonsense space but with loads of perks and knowing tomorrow is another dream day.
Florida holiday exhaust children but if managed well and thought through then there is so much to be made of it. When we last went with our son aged 3 and the grandparents we had a great time and made the most of it. At the end of a day at the park or whatever other attraction we went to we then stop at Publix on the way home and get dinner organised, being the man of the house this of course was a BBQ (awesome New York Steaks). Once we got home everyone got in the pool and let the tiring day wash off us, then out of the pool and dinner made for the little man, then as if it at home, it was a bit of play, a bath and bed. This way we got to have the little man asleep quickly and charging up for another day. I still remember him falling asleep on the first day holding the Mickey mouse teddy that we of course had to buy him!!
Once the boy was down the 4 of us would get out the beers and wine and have a BBQ eating outside by the pool. The days in Florida really make your holiday but the evenings for me were a chance to reflect of a greast day and play the next. It was also the time that we were able to think of any other things we now wanted to try and fit into the itinerary that we had seen from that day.
Depending on the group in your party there are of course more options. In this last trip it was a 3 generation Florida Holiday as we had the grandparents along as well and this meant that my wife and I were able to go out a couple of times and have a nice evening out. Florida is such an awesome family holiday location but it offers lots of things to do for grown ups for a night out such as seeing the much talked about Blue Man Group or Downtown Disney or Pleasure Island to name but a few. For those wanting to do something as a family then there are the options such as meal entertainment, these big ones include Arabian Nights and Medieval Times where you get a meal whilst also either seeing the stories of native americans or cheering on your selected Knight to win his Joust.
There are so many options that it is hard to decide and when and where you should go but a bit of planning goes a long way and we will start covering them for one and all..
