Amusement parks and water parks in Florida

florida amusement parks Amusement parks and water parks in FloridaAccording to the best travel blogs, when it comes to entertainment facilities in Florida, it is inevitable to think of Orlando, the authentic capital of theme parks.

In no other city in the world is there an equal concentration of amusement parks.
Orlando is also known as the “city of Mickey Mouse” because of the immense Resort that is home to Walt Disney World, in which there are 7 different parks including the Magic Kingdom (the most visited park in the world).

The Universal Studios Theme Park film boasts numerous attractions of the highest level, inspired by the film’s most famous products of this major film studio such as a Terminator, The Simpsons, The Mummy, Jaws etc…

Islands of Adventure: Universal’s second largest park, opened in 1999 and is considered by many to be the amusement park with the best theming of the world. The park is divided into several themed areas, ranging from those inspired by the film Jurassic Park to one dedicated to the super-heroes. In 2009-2010 a new area dedicated to the boy wizard Harry Potter was opened and since then it has become one of the park’s major attractions. The sights are excellent and include virtual simulators, flume rides, dark rides and roller coasters.

The Sea World Orlando Theme Park has numerous sea- related attractions like the ‘Skytower’ and the ‘Journey to Atlantis’ rides as well as shows and exhibitions. You are actually able to feed the dolphins and enjoy yourself to your heart’s content with your family and kids.

Wet ‘n Wild is a water park that has everything; from single or multi person rides to relaxing attractions and a kids’ park. It isn’t considered to be the best water park by chance.

The Busch Gardens combine the African scenery with some adrenaline pumping rides. In the Busch Gardens you can go to a real safari and meet up-close wild animals like Bengal tigers, Bornean orangutans and rare white rhinos! While you are at it, you can give SheiKra or Gwazi, one of the largest roller coasters, a try!
Last but not least, Kennedy Space Center. That’s right, SPACE CENTER! It may not be an actual amusement park but it’s truly fascinating. You can buy tickets for the two bus circuits that last about two hours each. Since only NASA authorized personnel may move inside the base, taking a tour means this is the only way to visit. A circuit takes you outside to visit the various factories where they build space rockets, the vehicles for the transport of the rocket and the launch pad. The shuttle is on a mission about 4 times a year so if you’re lucky you may even see a live departure. The other track leads you to visit the places where pilots study and train. You can attend screenings of three documentaries on space in the IMAX format. The images are spectacular. In another field, you will find out about the history of the conquest of space, the lives of the astronauts on the first of the rockets and shuttles and about the current project that NASA works on, which is the human colonization of Mars.
Outdoors you can see and touch various rockets used for space achievements, including the huge Apollo.
