A holiday in Florida is a fantastic experience with the best thing being that there are so many pluses to the experience, the most important one I believe is that each time you go it actually gets better rather than feeling sammy 
There are few places that offer this but with the great mixture of almost perfect weather, atmosphere, endless attractions and events and the feeling of being in Florida it is somewhere you can go time and time again.
With the economy in the doldrums at the moment there are a lot of people looking at ways to make the most of holiday either by having less, or trying to save some money in the process. There are a number of reasons that a florida villa saves money for your holiday but one thing people have started to do is take along more family members with them. This is not the only reason of course for taking multi generations, there is also the magic in the faces of the children that you want to share with other family members.
The last time we went to Florida the party consisted of our son (aged 3) my wife and I (ages not important) and my parents (ages really old, but dont tell them I said that!). An important thing to consider is the type of holiday you are looking for, when taking an older generation with you there needs to be some sensible recoginition of any walking problems, stamina lasting a whole day as especially when going somewhere with a small child who auto charges their battery you need to make the most of it.
We loved the 3 generation holiday as it offers a number of benefits for all parties. For the kids they get to spend more time with Nanny and Grandad and showing them the wonderful sites of Disney and more. For the middle generation (us) is means that you can sometimes get a break for an hour maybe in the day but also the opportunity to go out in the evening knowing you have great babysitters looking after your most important bundles, it is also not often that you see parents and spend some quality time just having fun together having removed the daya to day rubbish we all worry about!. For the Grandparents they get to share a most fantastic holiday with their full family and they live for their grandchildren. When we first asked my parents if they would like to come with us (they had been to Florida before) they said yes but only if Nanny could take their grandson on the Flying elephants – That was a really special moment for all!!
Is this a good idea?? This can be a great idea as long as before you go you all agree what you are wanting from the holiday and you get along at least slightly well. The benefit you have with the villa of course is that you have seperate rooms, a pool and so at the end of the day you are not all in each others pockets and can enjoy a normal evening.
