Save money in Florida – Rent A Villa

There are so many different reasons that make people decide where they go on holiday and where they stay. One of the big factors has to be the type of accommodation that is to be chosen. Especially for those that have not been to Florida before there is often the decision to stay in a hotel  as it is easy and makes the holiday simpler becuase they can stay on International drive or there is a bus service to the Parks etc….

Often people that book a hotel come back completely understanding why a villa would have been better for them and that is without talking about the prices involved. It is hard to come down with a final figure as to the difference in cost as often people staying in a hotel have gone on a package holiday and so the price is bundled into the package holiday price. However what is a lot easier to see if the difference in price with regards to spending money whilst you are there along with a number of other benefits along the way.

If you are able to breakdown the difference in cost of a hotel and a villa you will find there is a bit of a saving, not life changing however if you then add that to the other benefits it suddenly gets a lot more interesting. For example some of the main things are….

• Meals – Staying in a hotel you have no option other than to buy ready made food all holiday. This may be what you want but just like in England if you eat out all the time rather than eating at home sometimes you can imagine the difference in cost!! With the villa you can do a weekly shop in one of the major supermarkets for noticeably less then in the UK which is an experience in itself. This gives the option of using the saved money maybe for a special meal experience such as Arabian Nights Dinner which is a must do!
• Snacks – With the tempreture in Florida most of the year it is important to keep fed and watered to survive the days. A major benefit of staying in the villa is that when you open a cupboard there is food (no, they are not magic, you have to shop first) but otherwise whilst in a hotel you are limited on what you can keep in the room and so do a lot of ad hoc snack shopping

There are a number of differences between hotels and villas and I think the most important benefits for a villa are actually not financial! But when you look at the numbers there is just one more reason to hire a villa!
