Aquatica Orlando Overview – A Must Do

Aquatica Orlando is the newest waterpark to have been opened in Florida. Florida in many ways is about warm weather, great attractions and water either from the Sea, the pool or best of all the Water Parks and at Aquatica you can have everything in one place as it is the home of them all.

There are some awesome rides to be taken in Aquatica and if you have heard the name of Aquatica or seen any images of video then it will have been of the “Dolphin Plunge” ride, this is an excellent experience where you ride a 250 foot see through slide tube. Ok that sounds like most water slides but what makes it a bit special though is that the bottom half of the ride passes through the Dolphin pool giving you

a great chance to be chased by Dolphins as you speed through the slide. We will be writing more about this ride and more in posts to some but I suspect you are aware of this ride

The Aquatica park as a whole is designed as a goood all round family park meaning that you have a nice selection of ride experiences and speeds and that it is a great family water park to go to. The rides vary from some of the good old fashined riders with a bit of a new spin on them such as there being a Lazy river that slowly works it way around the park, the difference being that with Aquatica the lazy river called Loggerhead Lane goes into a clear tube section and give you a unique view of the underwater world that the can be found “under the sea”. Note: Any people under 4ft must where a life jacket!.
