Take Away and Delivered Meals

Staying in a Florida Villa gives you great control over your holiday as it offers you the flexibility and control to decide what you want to do with your time.

Some see the food part of a holiday in a villa a plus or minus. On the plus side when you want a snack you go to the cupboard or fridge and get one, then go and sit by the pool! Also there is no worry over dietary complications and you can eat as much or little whenever you like with similar style and a bit cheaper than home. However on the down side you have to go shopping, someone has to make the meals and also clean them up again afterwards
Now all villas I have been too have offered a full kitchen and so you have the utensils to make your food although some villas still don’t have an electrical kettle and you have to use the stove!

For many, half the attraction is eating out and not have the day to day arguments over cooking, what to eat and cleaning up as you eat out. The problem with this is of course the cost (although I will say that meals are cheaper in the US of A typically), and personally I like meals out bit not every night having normally eaten out at lunch in some questionable fast food place.
This is where you can have the best of both worlds which is a bit different in Florida thanks to their being so many things close to each other. As with the UK there is of course the normal delivery companies such as Dominoes etc but there is also something a bit different in that there are a lot of people that offer the facility to go and get your dinner from a restaurant and bring it to your house.

On arrival to a villa you will often see a selection of flyers in the villa of more will be posted through the door by people offering this facility. Now I cannot name any of them or endorse any but we have tried this a couple of times where you are given a cut down version of a menu and can select the meals you would like and then will basically order it for you, collect it and brim it to your door.

There are some things that should be obvious that you need to take into account, obviously they do it to make some money and so it will cost more,but to be honest it is not that expensive at all often! Also when the food gets to you, you need to expect that it will not be piping hot any more but your kitchen probably has a microwave!
This is a nice way to have an evening off cooking, or after an especially busy day or having the need to slob then this is worth a go. You then chose to eat out of containers and throw the whole lot away at the end of the meal or put it on plates.
You guys out there that would like to assist if the ladies do the cooking or want to offer something different this is a good option to try. Don’t expect Cordon Bleu but it should be good. As with any of these companies try and use a company that has reviews or ideally someone you know has used before.
